My name is Shana Tetterton. I am a lucky wife, mother of 3 daughters and 2 girl dogs. I started learning about health and wellness after realizing I had an undiagnosed autoimmune disorder, going through PPD after my first daughter was born and a general feeling that I should feel better each day when I wake up than I was. I saw several doctors and got the same experience and recommendations many of you have received; a list of prescriptions, no conversation about lifestyle, nutrition or physical activity. I then decided to take my health into my own control. Ten years later, lots of trial and error and plenty of lessons learned, I became a certified IHP and now try and give others insights into their own health and give them the tools they need to help live their best days. Modern medicine is a wonderful advancement for our society but with our economic and healthcare system, we have become too dependent on simply taking pills to fix all of our issues. I am here to tell you there is another path you can take and I'd love to walk that path with you!

Root Cause Analysis

If you feel like you have tried everything and you still aren't getting anywhere, it may be time to take a deeper look into what's going on within your body. Root cause based issues such as infections, viruses, parasites, heavy metals, lyme and more all can play a huge role in why you aren't getting better long term.

Supplements and Vitamins

It's extremely easy to fall into the trap of seeing an ad on TV or social media telling you that this one supplement alone will fix you and cure you of all your health woes. That is 100% incorrect. While supplementation is needed for most, as an IHP  I take a deep look into your bio individualized health is key to creating the perfect supplementation plan.

Daily Lifestyle Choices

Above all else, your daily lifestyle and the foundations you set for your day to day will ultimately set the course for your health journey. In month 1of a client's program I work with each client in setting up daily habits that will optimize their health for the long run. We take a look at movement, sleep, eating habits, sunshine intake and more.
